Redesign Contest, Green Lantern

Hal Jordan Redesign
Hal grew from an arrogant test pilot to a leader figure for the Green Lanterns of sector 2814. His design revolves around the theme of a pilot and a space cowboy. The costume of a military figure evokes a sense of respect and authority.

I can see this as a potential redesign of Guy Gardner as well (because of the jacket mainly). Throw in fingerless gloves or wrapped fists and it'd be great. I love the suit...bit iffy on the goggles...I get what you're going with but I think I just prefer the classic masks. Awesome stuff!

It doesn't quite fit the Hal Jordan I grew up with, but it's perfect for the Hal Jordan of the film!

haha I sort of agree with that. The one we grow up with is a space ranger. This would probably be closer to Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier GL. :)
